Maribel Castells

Il·lustradora i dissenyadora gràfica de Mallorca. Està especialitzada en il·lustració infantil (àlbums il·lustrats i llibres de cartró), editorial i branding. Guanyadora d’un ICB Award (Londres, 2024), d’un Ilustrofest Award (Sèrbia, 2023) i finalista a l’Exposició d’Il·lustradors de la Fira del Llibre Infantil de Bolonya (2021). La seva veu creativa es troba entre la iconografia folk i el llenguatge estètic del collage, a través d’un estil distintiu de tècniques mixtes, amb eleccions cromàtiques singulars i un aire retro. Illustrator and Graphic Designer from Mallorca, Spain. She’s focused on Children’s Illustration (Picture Books and Board Books), Editorial and Branding. Her creative voice is somewhere between folk imagery and cut-paper aesthetic language, through a bold, mixed-media style with quirky color choices and retro vibes.
